The Blueprint Phase

For brands entirely new to EDI, this is where we design your ideal NetSuite-to-Orderful integration plan, architecting your custom data mapping and warehouse workflows from scratch before writing a single line of code.

Do I have to wait until my current legacy contract expires before I migrate to Orderful?
Not at all. Your legacy EDI provider doesn’t control your data flow—your retail partners do.
Think of it like updating a payroll direct deposit: your old bank can’t stop you from routing your paycheck to a new bank. Updating an EDI delivery address is just as routine. Once you give retailers your Orderful details, their EDI teams apply the update and traffic shifts instantly.
While you will still owe your legacy vendor for the remainder of your term, they cannot block your traffic. We recommend migrating 3 to 6 months before your contract ends to transition partners safely one by one, giving you plenty of time to submit a cancellation notice within their strict 30- to 90-day window to beat the auto-renewal trap.
Does migrating mean our EDI will go down during a massive cutover?
Absolutely not. We use a gradual, partner-by-partner transition strategy. For example, we might migrate Target to Orderful first, ensuring the 850s, 856s, and 810s are flowing perfectly. During this time, your other retailers (like Walmart or Amazon) continue running uninterrupted on your old provider. We only migrate the next partner once the previous one is 100% stable.
Do we always have to start with a Blueprint phase?
If you are migrating from a legacy EDI provider, yes. NetSuite environments are highly unique. Auditing existing setups guarantees we uncover hidden complexities before we build, preventing scope creep. If you are entirely new to EDI, the blueprint phase is much lighter—we focus strictly on mapping your NetSuite item cross-references and warehouse flows to get you compliant from day one.
What if we don't have an expensive iPaaS provider like Celigo?
No problem. Instead of forcing you into a costly annual contract with enterprise middleware, we can implement n8n. It is a highly robust, modern integration engine that can be self-hosted or run via cloud for a fraction of legacy middleware pricing while keeping your architecture visual and easily managed.

Yes. If you just landed Walmart, Amazon, or another major retailer, we manage the entire onboarding process on your behalf.
